Financial Aid Document Deadline: All required documents must be received at least 30 days prior to your scheduled registration date!
To be used if a student is currently enrolled.
If you have skipped a quarter please complete a new admissions application.
Students submitting a change of program form by the deadline will be processed for Open Registration. You ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to register during returning student registration.
A student should complete this form when he or she requests a change from one program to another, regardless of whether the change is to a degree, diploma, or certificate program. Because of the length of time it takes to process applications and varying program entry dates, some program changes may not be effective for the upcoming quarter.

Processing will take a minimum of two weeks. Please check BANNER Web at www.laniertech.edu for your status. Login to your account and go to “Admissions, Student & Financial Aid”. Go to “Student Records” and then “View Student Records”. It will display the program of study you are accepted into.

You will need to complete the HOPE Scholarship evaluation process. If you change to a degree you will no longer be eligible for HOPE Grant.

Diploma programs are eligible to receive HOPE Grant and PELL Grant
if you are eligible.
7. Most Certificate programs are not eligible to receive PELL Grant.

Note: If yes and you change to a certificate please check with the financial aid office you may longer be eligible for PELL.
(As a degree-seeking student, you are not eligible to receive HOPE Grant funding. Please contact the financial aid office at least three weeks prior to registration at 770.531.6327 regarding
HOPE Scholarship evaluation procedures.)

Degree seeking students - degree programs are not eligible to receive HOPE Grant funding. Students applying for Radiology Tech or Clinical Laboratory Tech Degree programs will be placed in the Healthcare Science Certificate to take the core classes required for selection consideration into the program and these students may apply for the HOPE Grant while in this certificate. Students selected for Radiology Tech or Clinical Laboratory Tech should contact the Financial Aid Office for HOPE Scholarship eligibility requirements.

*IMPORTANT NOTE*

Admission requirements vary by program. Additional admission documents, procedures, and retesting may be required when changing programs. Program changes may significantly affect your eligibility for Financial Aid. Students should consult with their advisor, the Office of Admissions, and Office of Financial Aid before changing programs. Students will receive an acceptance letter specifying the date and time to register for the new program. It is not necessary to request transfer of courses currently listed on your Lanier Tech academic record. If you have course work at another college that may be applicable to your new program, please complete the Request For Transfer Credit form.
