 AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION TRAINING ASSISTANT - Economic Development Department
  Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma *AND* Six (6) months of related work experience
  • Previous experience working with the public in a customer service environment
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds

COMPETENCIES: • Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of computers & job-related software programs, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite; • Ability to develop an extensive knowledge of Worldpoint One software for AHA TC management; • Effective oral and written communication skills; • Demonstrated attention to details and accuracy; • Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public in varied situations; • Effective decision making and problem solving skills; • Ability to become an approved testing proctor (PearsonVue, ACT, GA Pest Control, etc.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary technical college business-related training/degree
  • Previous experience using Worldpoint One software for AHA TC management
  • American Heart Association Certified instructor
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

  • A high school diploma


  Responsibilities

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Performs and completes administrative tasks and assignments related to the AHA Community Training Center
  • Maintains filing and recordkeeping systems and reference manuals/materials to comply with AHA guidelines
  • Serves as a communications link between AHA Community Training Center and internal and external contacts
  • Greet Economic Development clients and process payments
  • Proctor exams in Economic Development’s testing center
  • Other duties as assigned by Director
