Salary
Commensurate with experience, education, and state salary schedule.
Qualifications
Five years professional experience with the electrical utility industry at a technical and/or engineering capacity.
Education Requirements
Minimum of Electrical Utility Industry specific training that can be documented to accreditation standards. Associate's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
This is a part-time position responsible for teaching courses in Electrical Utility Technology at the Oakwood campus. Under general supervision, the instructor will: Prepare lesson plans and develop program and syllabi, goals, and objectives; Evalulate students' progress in attaining goals and objectives; Maintain program certification requirements, as appropriate; Prepare and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports; Ensure safety and security requirements are met in the training area; Meet with students, staff members, and other educators to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues.
