The ACT Program is a Diploma program which focuses on the residential segment of the Heating Ventilation Air conditioning/ Refrigeration (HVAC) market.  Although residential systems are the focus many graduates start as technicians in Commercial and Industrial companies. 
  
Most Graduates work as HVAC Installers or HVAC Service Technicians these jobs are very technical and command high salaries.  Demand for Lanier Tech ACT students are huge.  All Graduates seeking employment are normally placed within weeks of starting their job search. 
  
ACT is a multidiscipline Trade which includes Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and Fluid Dynamics; an ACT Service Tech is expected to understand the theory and application of these concepts as they apply to a residential HVAC equipment.  Lanier Tech’s ACT program develops students to apply these concepts to Install, Troubleshoot, and Design HVAC residential systems.
