                Welding and Joining Technology Diploma
 
The Welding and Joining Technology diploma is designed to prepare students for careers in the welding industry. Program learning opportunities develop academic, technical, professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention and advancement. The program emphasizes welding theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive a Welding and Joining Technology diploma, have the qualifications of a welding and joining technician and are prepared to take qualification tests.

                Gas Metal Arc Welding Certificate (M.I.G.)

The Gas Metal Arc Welding certificate program provides current curriculum and instructional materials which teach knowledge, skills and attitudes appropriate to the welding industry needs and will prepare students for positions in the welding industry using the wire feed process of welding.

                Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Certificate (T.I.G.)

The Gas Tungsten Arc Welding certificate program provides current curriculum and instructional materials which teach knowledge, skills and attitudes appropriate to the welding industry needs and will prepare students for positions in the welding industry.

                Shielded Metal Arc Welding Certificate (stick)

The Shielded Metal Arc Welding certificate program provides current curriculum and instructional materials which teach knowledge, skills and attitudes appropriate to the welding industry needs and will prepare students for positions in the welding industry using the traditional and widely used "stick" welding process.
