	<< return to Catalog Home Page     HOPE Scholarship Checkpoints           Effective Fall Quarter 1993 a HOPE Scholarship recipient must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA at the 45, 90 and 135 quarter hour checkpoints to be eligible to renew. HOPE Scholarship eligibility can be lost, gained or regained at these checkpoints. Effective Summer Quarter 2004, all HOPE Scholarship recipients must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA at the end of each Spring Quarter, in order to continue their eligibility, except for first tier recipients who enrolled for less than 12 hours for each of their first three quarters. First tier recipients who enrolled for less than 12 hours for each of their first three quarters must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA in order to continue their HOPE Scholarship eligibility.
