CISCO Network Professional Certificate
The CISCO Network Professional certificate of credit program provides students with the skills and knowledge that networking professionals are expected to understand and utilize. Curriculum is designed to deliver skills-based training. The CISCO Network Professional certificate program is intended to prepare students for the CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification exam. Program graduates receive a CISCO Network Professional certificate of credit. This program is offered by the Computer Information Systems (CIS) department.

Availibility
Students are accepted any quarter based on course and space availability. Students must either have completed the CISCO CCNA Academy program or have their CCNA certification. This program offers day and evening classes at the Forsyth Campus.
Requirements
  • Applicant must be at least 16 years of age.

  • High school diploma or GED is required prior to admission.
    Official transcripts or GED scores must be submitted from all colleges and/or high schools attended for credit.

  • Take the ASSET placement test or submit SAT, ACT, CPE or COMPASS test scores.

    CISCO Network Specialist Certificate
    The Cisco Network Specialist program teaches how to build, maintain and troubleshoot computer networks. Students also learn how to connect these networks to other networks and the Internet. Program graduates will receive a CISCO Network Specialist certificate of credit. This program is offered by the Computer Information Systems (CIS) department.

    Availibility
    Students are accepted spring and fall quarter for day classes and winter and summer for evening classes based on course and space availability. This program offers day, evening and online classes at the Oakwood and Forsyth Campuses.
    Requirements
  • Applicant must be at least 16 years of age.

  • High school diploma or GED is required prior to admission.

    Computer Repair Technician Certificate
    The Computer Repair Technician certificate of credit program provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for the graduate to successfully work as a computer repair technician in a variety of workplace settings such as industry, computer companies, consulting firms, retail stores, and government agencies. The program includes computer training to prepare students for the A+ certification exam. Program graduates receive a Computer Repair Technician certificate of credit. This program is offered by the Computer Information Systems (CIS) department.

    Internet Specialist Website Developer Certificate
    The Internet Specialist Web Site Designer Certificate provides skills to develop interactive web sites which include graphics, XHTML, front-end scripting programs, back-end servlet programs, and database connectivity. This certificate prepares the student with the skills to be a Web Site Developer. The purpose of this certificate is to provide training opportunities for persons already either already employed in the computer industry or have already been trained in a related computer area and wish to upgrade their skill with advanced courses and skills. Program graduates will receive an Internet Specialist Web Site Developer certificate of credit.

    This certificate program provides basic training in computer information systems networking. Students are introduced to the basic concepts of network administration. Upon graduation, students will be able to install, configure and maintain networks using Windows networking software. The student is prepared to take the MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) exam.
