  Oakwood LifeSouth Blood Drive
Life South will be on the Oakwood campus on Thursday, September 4th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Look for the blood mobile outside of building 200. Please donate for this worthwhile cause. Each person that donates receives a LifeSouth hat.
  Postponing Maintaining Balance Lunch and Learn
Students, we are postponing the 2nd phase of orientation "Maintaining Balance" information lunch & learn that was suppose to be held August 26th in Oakwood, August 27th in Forsyth & Dawson, and September 2nd in Winder until sometime a little later in September.  Keep looking on the website for dates & times.  This information will be forthcoming.  Have a great first week of school!

  Oakwood Resource Fair - September 16th
Attention all students...the annual Resource Fair is approaching. Come learn about resources available to you in Hall County and the surrounding areas that will help you on your way to academic success! We will have vendors from many different organizations covering everything from financial assistance and workforce development to food and shelter. This is a very important event so don't miss it! It is being held on Tuesday, September 16th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Oakwood Campus, Building 300, in the Student Center. See you there!

  Esthetician-Medical Skin Care
   The Cosmetic Esthetician program is designed to offer esthetics training for entry-level students. Completion of the program prepares students to sit for the Esthetics licensure examination given by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and to work in a variety of professions that employ estheticians in beauty salons, spas, health clubs, cosmetics stores as well as the practices of plastic surgeons and dermatologists.

The Clinical Laboratory Technology program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for technician positions in medical laboratories and related businesses and industries. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of didactic and clinical instruction necessary for successful employment.
