  WIA Orientation (Work Force Investment Act)

Have you heard that WIA can help students with  a lot of  major college expenses? Whitney Williams, the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Representative will be at the Oakwood Campus on May 29th in the Student Center of Bldg. 300 at 10:30 a.m.
She will remain in the Student Center after the orientation to answer questions and assist aapplicants with documentation. Questions? Call Jennifer Pulliam at 770-531-6346 or email jpulliam@laniertech.edu.

  EMS Competitive Entry Meeting

June 10th at 6:00 PM at Oakwood Campus, Room 301. If you are an applicant for the EMT program at Lanier Technical College, or currently enrolled in the EMS Professional Diploma program, please plan on attending one of the pre-course meetings.  You must attend one of the meetings to be considered for the program.  The meeting will address program expectations and the cost and time schedules associated with the program.  For more information and necessary forms, please choose Academic Programs on this website and select Paramedicine.  Contact Sam Stone at sstone@laniertech.edu if you have any questions.

  Criminal Justice Technology
   The Criminal Justice Technology program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for Criminal Justice professions. The program emphasizes a combination of Criminal Justice theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive a Criminal Justice Technology associate degree. Graduates who are current practitioners will benefit through enhancement of career potential. Entry-level persons will be prepared to pursue diverse opportunities in the corrections, security, investigative, and police administration fields.
