Lanier Technical College will administer the National League of Nursing (NLN) Test on August 13 at the Forsyth Campus, and again on August 14 at the Oakwood Campus for those students who have been accepted to Lanier Technical College and who are interested in admission to the Practical Nursing program for 2015 or Surgical Technology program for 2015. The Practical Nursing program begins with the Fall Semester 2015 on both the Forsyth and Oakwood Campuses. The Surgical Technology program begins Spring Semester 2015 at the Oakwood Campus only. The deadline to register for the National League of Nursing (NLN) test is July 28. Pre-registration is required.

  Early Childhood Care and Education
   The Early Childhood Care and Education program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for careers in child care and related fields. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of early childhood care and education theory and practical application necessary for successful employment.

Surgical Technology
The Surgical Technology program prepares students for employment in a variety of positions in the surgical field. The Surgical Technology Degree program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and technical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to upgrade present knowledge and skills or to retrain in Surgical Technology. Graduates of the program receive a Surgical Technology degree or diploma and are qualified for employment as surgical technologists.
