The Interiors Program students presented their Spring Portfolio Show on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center. The show featured eight students, Holley Bernardez, Amy Durham, Raychel Lawrence, Candace Moore, Savanna Skinner, Taylor Smith, Astin Solomon and Tiffany Thomas. Amy O’Dell, Chair of the Interiors Program at Lanier Technical College, explained that, “these eight amazing students are currently enrolled in INDS 2240 Business Practices for Design Professionals. This capstone class requires students to synthesize all of the skills, knowledge, and techniques they have gained throughout their education into a cohesive presentation. The Portfolio Exhibit is a requirement of the state curriculum, but it is also a salute to the students’ success.”

First Year students presently enrolled in the Interiors Program also participated in the night’s event by showcasing their introductory level projects. They also assisted with the refreshments and the people’s choice award voting.

It was a celebratory evening, with over 100 friends, family members, college staff and faculty, and industry partners in attendance.
