The Economic Development office of Lanier Technical College has the privilege of working with the business and industry communities within the college’s service area. We offer continuing education and safety classes and deliver customized training in an eight county area that includes Banks, Barrow, Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, Jackson, Lumpkin, and North Fulton County. Customized training is tailored to meet specific needs and is available in the following areas but is not limited to them: Supervisory Development, Team Building, Communication Skills, Conversational Spanish, Computer Skills, Statistical Process Control, Precision Measuring Instruments, CPR and First Aid. Continuing education and safety training include one-day computer workshops, first aid, CPR, and forklift training.

Economic Development is now offering training for the Ammonia Refrigeration industry. Operator I and Operator II training are scheduled along with specialized eight hour workshops to meet the industry’s needs.
