Local officials and officials of Lanier Technical College celebrated the relocation of the Commerce campus of Lanier Tech into a new, 30,000-square-foot facility at the south end of the old Bi-Lo shopping center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Wednesday.

Lanier Tech had been in a 5,000-square-foot section of the county-owned building since it opened in the fall of 2003.
