Film Your Way To Success!
Mary Ann Miller, 4/27/2005

The Radiologic Technology associate’s degree program is a sequence of courses that prepares students to sit for the national radiographer certification examination and to work in positions in hospitals, medical clinics, and physicians’ offices. The program combines didactic and clinical instruction in anatomy and physiology; body, trunk, spine, and extremity procedures; principles of radiographic exposure; imaging; pathology; medical terminology; and radiation biology and protection.

Admission to the program is based on a selective admission procedure which requires completion of the general core courses and AHS 104 and SCT 100 with a grade of C or higher in each course and a cumulative grade point average on these courses of 2.5 or higher. The top 25 students who meet admission requirements will be admitted to the program once a year in Fall Quarter. In order to be eligible for admission to the Fall Quarter 2005 class, applicants must have completed the application process no later than July 1, 2005. The program is available at the Oakwood Campus only.
