Fall Quarter 2006 - Important Deadline Information
Mary Ann Miller, 8/2/2006
The admission application, financial aid application, and transfer of credit request deadline for Fall Quarter, 2006 is September 8th.
Admissions
Applications for admission received after the deadline may be considered for admission if transcripts, test scores, and other supporting documents are received in time to be processed for Fall Quarter.
Financial Aid
It is important that you complete your financial aid application by the September 8, 2006 deadline in order for us to determine your eligibility for aid. ALL students who wish to be considered for HOPE funding should complete a HOPE application on-line at www.GAcollege411.org. Instructions for completion of this application are available here.
Diploma and degree seeking students who wish to be considered for federal financial aid (Pell Grant) should also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form. The quickest way to apply is online using the FAFSA on the WEB at www.fafsa.ed.gov. These grants are available to students with financial need who have not earned a bachelor’s degree.
Consideration will be given to financial aid applications submitted after the deadline. However, late applicants should be prepared to pay their tuition and fees on registration day as we cannot ensure that your financial aid will be in place. Students who are determined to be eligible for aid after registration will be eligible for reimbursement later in the quarter.
Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you have questions regarding your financial aid eligibility. 770.531.6450, 770.535.6906,

Transfer of Credit
Completion of the Request for Transfer Credit form along with official transcripts from each College attended are required for a thorough evaluation. Requests for Transfer Credit received after the deadline will be accepted, however, failure to request transfer credit review by the deadline may result in transfer credit issues that remain unresolved by the scheduled registration date. In order to receive proper advisement, transfer credit should be processed prior to advisement/registration. A written evaluation will be mailed to the student’s home address upon completion of the review.
