Where do I get a copy of my transcript?


To request your Lanier Tech transcript, please visit Transcript Request and follow the instructions.

Is there a transcript fee?


THERE IS A PER COPY FEE FOR ALL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS.

Where do I get help with job seeking skills or finding part-time or full-time employment?


The Student Affairs Office at each campus. Additional information on employment opportunities, including Lanier Tech’s eRecruitment Online Job Search, is available in the Career Services section of the website. Should you have specific questions, please contact Career Services at 770-533-7009.

Where do I buy books?


Bookstores are currently located at the Hall and Forsyth Campuses. During registration, a temporary Bookstore is located at the Winder-Barrow Campus. Jackson County students may purchase their books at the Barrow Campus or by contacting the Hall Campus Bookstore at 770-533-7045 to make other arrangements. Dawson County students may purchase their books at the Forsyth Campus Bookstore or by contacting the Hall Campus Bookstore at 770-533-7045 to make other arrangements. Some online services are also available via the bookstore website. Should you have questions, please contact the Hall Campus Bookstore at 770-533-7045.

Where do I get a parking decal?


At the present time, parking decals are only distributed at the Hall and Forsyth Campuses. These decals are available on the Hall Campus; Student Accounts counter in Breeden Giles and in the Student Affairs Office at the Forsyth Campus, Building A. Where do I get help if I am a student with disabilities?


The Student Affairs Office at each campus can provide help for students with disabilities. Should you have specific questions, please contact Allison Haynes at 770-533-7003 or ahaynes@laniertech.edu.

Where do I go to withdraw from courses or request a refund?


Through the end of the last day of the semester, a student may withdraw from a course or courses online via BannerWeb. This deadline is strictly enforced.

A student dropping a course on or after the third instructional day of the semester, but by the final day of class, will receive a grade of “W.” Note: An instructional day is based on the academic calendar, not a student’s individual schedule. A student who drops a course prior to the first day of the semester or during the three day drop period will be due a refund of tuition (see Refund Policy) Students on financial aid should be aware that a drop or withdrawal after the three day drop period may affect their financial aid.

Where do I go to change my program of study or my admissions status?

Where do I go to get information on taking the GED Exam?


Visit the Adult Education web pages or contact the Adult Education Department at 770-531-3356.

Where do I file a student accident report?

How do I drop a course?


Through the end of the third instructional day of the semester, a student may drop a course from an already existing schedule. Note: An instructional day is based on the academic calendar, not a student’s individual schedule. Students may drop courses online via BannerWeb prior to the close of the office on the third instructional day of the semester. This deadline is strictly enforced. A student who drops a course may be due a refund (see Refund Policy).

Through the end of the third calendar day of the semester, a student may add a course to an already existing schedule.
