Lanier Tech Students Win at SkillsUSA Nationals

Gainesville, GA— Lanier Technical College’s  Georgia Post-Secondary State SkillsUSA Competitions gold-medal winners competed at the SkillsUSA National competitions during the week of June 1, 2026. Competitors from around the United States of America met at the Georgia World Congress Center to compete in many of the high-demand career-based academic programs offered by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).

In all, Lanier Technical College had four students place in either the Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal categories. Their names and competitions are as follows:

National Gold Medal Winners for Career Pathways – Healthcare: 

Shelby Colbaugh, Ada Victoria Bode, Ginger Forrest

National Silver Medal Winners for Career and Technical Educator: 

Anastasia Miller
