What is a nontraditional career?

A nontraditional career is one that employs less than 25% of males or females with the United States.

The gender that comprises less than 25% of the workforce in a nontraditional occupation is considered the underrepresented gender.

Lanier Tech’s educational programs are also considered as being nontraditional based on whether the corresponding occupation that a student would be most prepared to pursue after completion is deemed nontraditional.
