Job Description:
Lanier Technical College is accepting applications for a Federal Work Study Graphic & Video Design Specialist on the Hall Campus.
The responsibility of this position is to design, create, and deliver graphical/video designs for printed projects, online advertising, social media advertising, and 3D exhibits for use in marketing, communicating, and advertising in all of Lanier Tech’s communication channels. This position will engage in-person with other students, alumni, staff/faculty and leadership. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in developing digital integrated marketing and social media marketing campaigns along with additional duties assigned by the Assistant Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid on file for the 2025-26 aid year.
- Must be registered for the current term and must meet SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) standards.
- Applicants should be neat in appearance and possess the ability to work well with others.
- Applicants must be dependable, punctual, and be able to work the required hours each week.
- As with all LTC employees, a background investigation is required which may include, but is not limited to, a review and/or verification of criminal history records, motor/vehicle driver’s history records, employment history, references, etc.
- Proper grammatical skills are a must.
- Applicants must have experience with Microsoft OS Windows, Adobe Creative Cloud, iPhones or Android phones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth experience using the latest versions of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to create graphical/video designs.
- Experience in creating products for electronic and lithography printing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office especially Word and PowerPoint.
Salary:
20 hours per week at $15.00 per hour.
