Motorsports Vehicle Technology
The Motorsports Vehicle Technology offers a blend of hands-on, trackside, and classroom training which prepares students to work in the challenging and rewarding fields of the Motorsport Industry. In our shop and classroom students learn all facets of racecar development including suspension set-up, fabrication, welding, machine tool, carbon fiber lay-up, engine builds and tuning, transmission and differential builds, general racecar repairs, testing procedures, racecar electronics, data acquisition, trackside procedures, and many other industry protocols.

09/19/2019 - Financial Aid Workshop - Forsyth [+]
Do you want to learn more about the Financial Aid process and what Scholarships are available to you? Then, you need to be at this lunch and learn on Wednesday, September 19th, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in Building C Room C-107. The director of Financial Aid and the Foundation offices will be going over important information you need to know and then give you an opportunity to ask some questions. 10/08/2018 - WIOA - Dawson Campus [+]
Danielle Avelar, our WIOA representative, will be on campus to provide an orientation for students who want to apply for funds to help them through college. This is a mandatory information session that every student must attend before applying for funds. Call the WIOA office at 770-538-2727 for more information. Depending on eligibility, students may receive funds for tuition, books, supplies, travel and lunch. This program will be held on the Dawson Campus in Room 118 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

It is time for the Lanier Technical College Resource/Wellness Fair. Lanier Technical College is having a combined Resource/Wellness Fair in Oakwood on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Lecture Hall. There will be free giveaways and prizes for all that attend! You will be able to have your blood pressure checked, sugar tested, along with height, weight, and BMI. Vendors from all over the community will be present to give you information about their resources that are available to you. Please come join us!
