Do you need to improve your literacy skills? Are you interested in a High School Equivalency diploma such as the GED® or HiSET®? Each of the seven counties that serve Lanier Technical College have locations to help adult learners in obtaining skills to become more successful and confident in the workplace and society. And best of all? The High School Equivalency classes at Lanier Technical College are free of charge.
High School Equivalency instruction includes reading, writing, social studies, science, and math – all of the items that are tested on the GED® and HiSET® exams. You will also receive instruction in soft skills, digital literacy, and financial literacy. You can also find opportunities to participate in short-term training programs that lead to national certifications while studying with us.
Perhaps English is not your first language and you would like to improve your reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Lanier Technical College offers classes to do this! We also provide soft skills, financial literacy, and digital literacy training. We provide students with awareness of the responsibilities and rights of citizens, including U.S. Citizenship exam preparation! Improve your pronunciation and understanding of English, and if you so desire, enter our Bridge program at the most advanced levels, where you will learn academic English and literacy skills to prepare you for post-secondary education, hopefully right here at Lanier Tech!
