Proctored Testing Services

Lanier Technical College’s Economic Development Division offers proctored testing services for professional development, license certifications, indication of job skill readiness, program admission, and pre-employment screening. The Economic Development division maintains testing labs in Deal Hall on the Hall Campus and has access to testing facilities at the College’s other campus locations.

Certiport offers nationally recognized certifications for Microsoft Office applications. Voucher purchase available at  www.certiport.com

GDOT Exams

Exams required by the State of Georgia for certain Georgia Department of Transportation employees to obtain certification in the areas of Quality Control Technician (QCT), Roadway Testing Technician (RTT), Soil Testing Technician (STT), and QCT Aggregate Standard, Source, and Natural Sand. All Aggregate exams require advance approval. Additional dates available for groups of four or more. Email ce@laniertech.edu to arrange group testing.

Miscellaneous Exams

Proctoring for exams such as Georgia MLS and online courses is available only at the Hall Campus during regularly scheduled proctoring sessions. Call 770-533-6995 well in advance to allow time for proctor approval.

Pest Control Exams

Exams required by the State of Georgia for all employees who make inspections, propose treatments, apply control procedures, or for any company or self-employed individual engaged in commercial pesticide applications. Exams offered are: Commercial Applicators Examination, Employee Registration Examination, and Certified Pest Control Operator Examination. Register online at www.gapestexam.com

POST Testing

POST Testing is available by appointment only Monday through Thursday mornings at all Lanier Tech campuses. Initial exam includes three tests (Reading, Writing, Arithmetic). Tests are not timed. Retesting on individual test sections is also available if needed. Exact test date and time will be determined by the designated campus proctor BEFORE you are contacted for payment. Payment must be received 24 hours in advance of test date.
