Lanier Tech President Announces Road Construction at Hall Campus Entrance
May 21, 2025
Gainesville, GA— Lanier Tech President, Tim McDonald, notified college personnel on the week of May 19, 2025 about the finalized two-year road reconstruction project at the college’s Hall Campus. McDonald had this to say about the upcoming project,
“As reported, Lanier Tech’s Hall Campus is set for a major traffic upgrade to the campus entrance via Georgia Highway 365. This upgrade will ultimately include a flyover bridge, allowing campus ingress and egress without requiring a risky left-hand turn against traffic.
The construction will begin in the coming months with an approximate two-year construction timeline. However, we will dismantle our entrance sign to allow the utility work and roadway realignment due to necessary utility realignment along Lanier Tech Drive. We will reinstall the entrance sign when we have assurance that it no longer conflicts with road construction. Work on the sign and a couple of light poles will commence in the coming days.”
