Engineering Technology applies engineering theories in the real world and focuses on application and implementation through hands-on training to develop product, manufacturing, and construction designs.
The Engineering Technology Program is intended to provide the opportunity for students to explore a career in engineering at the professional level. Program graduates will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering Technology, qualifying them as engineering technicians with a specialization in mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, or industrial engineering technology.
Wireless Engineering functions include the effective transmission, reception, storage, and analysis of information (data) using cellular, WiFi, and other wireless communication devices. Individuals in the field provide technical support repairing, analyzing, installing, testing, and maintaining wireless transmission, broadcasting, and reception equipment used in cellular networks, computer networks, Wi-Fi networks, and the internet.
