Dual Enrollment Cost

Dual Enrollment Students

There is little cost to students participating in the Dual Enrollment program. The Dual Enrollment program covers the cost of tuition, a book allowance, and mandatory fees up to 15 credit hours per semester. Other expenses, including transportation and course – specific supplies, liability and malpractice insurance, are the responsibility of the student.

The Dual Enrollment funding application must be completed prior to registration and no later than the start of the semester. If not, you will be responsible for your total tuition, fees, and books for the semester.

All students are subject to the college’s satisfactory academic progress policy.

Self-Pay and/or Joint Enrolled Students

Students who elect to self-pay for Dual Enrollment tuition, fees, and books are subject to Lanier Technical College’s Residency Policy and tuition and fees. Students must provide proof of lawful presence and verification of in-state residency if they plan to self-pay for course(s) taken or utilize HOPE Grant when eligible. If or when a self-pay Dual Enrollment student reaches the 30 semester hours program Funding Cap, a student may qualify for HOPE Grant and HOPE Career Grant funding or may choose to self-pay for tuition, fees, and textbooks. All students are subject to the college’s satisfactory academic progress policy.

Students who participate in Joint Enrollment are subject to Lanier Technical College’s Residency Policy and tuition and fees. Students must provide proof of lawful presence and verification of in-state residency if they plan to self-pay for course(s) taken or utilize HOPE Grant when eligible. Joint Enrollment students may qualify for HOPE Grant and HOPE Career Grant funding or may choose to self-pay for tuition, fees, and textbooks. All students are subject to the college’s satisfactory academic progress policy.
