Dual Enrollment Textbooks

Textbook Pickup

Dual Enrollment students may pick up required textbooks and course materials during the designated textbook distribution period each semester.

Students will receive notification through their Lanier Technical College student email when textbooks are available for pickup.  Failure to pick-up textbooks by dates posted will result in being charged for books.

Before You Travel

Before coming to campus to pick up your textbooks, please:

  • Verify that your class schedule is correct by logging into your My LTC Experience portal.
  • Check the Lanier Technical College Bookstore website for operating hours and contact your campus location to confirm pickup hours before traveling.
  • Bring a valid photo ID. Your Lanier Technical College Student ID is preferred.

Students Registered by the Textbook Distribution Deadline

Students who are enrolled by the semester’s textbook distribution deadline will be included in the initial bookstore textbook distribution process and may pick up their textbooks during the designated pickup period.

Students Who Register After the Distribution Deadline

Students who register after the semester’s textbook distribution deadline will not be included in the initial bookstore distribution process.

After registration is complete, students must submit the Post-Delivery Dual Enrollment Book Request Form before textbooks can be processed and distributed.

Students Who Change Their Schedule

Students who add, drop, or change courses after the textbook distribution deadline must complete the Post-Delivery Dual Enrollment Book Request Form to ensure textbook needs are updated and processed correctly.

Failure to submit the form may delay textbook distribution.

Important Reminders

  • Textbooks will only be issued based on your current registered schedule.
  • Schedule changes may affect the textbooks you receive.
  • Please allow adequate processing time after submitting the Dual Enrollment Book Request Form.
  • Check bookstore hours online or by phone before traveling to campus.
  • Questions regarding textbook pickup should be directed to your campus bookstore.
  • Do not purchase your own textbooks. Students receiving Dual Enrollment funding will not be reimbursed for textbooks purchased independently.

Textbook Returns

All physical textbooks issued through the Dual Enrollment Program must be returned at the end of each semester.

Students will receive information regarding textbook return deadlines and procedures through their Lanier Technical College student email.

Return Procedures

  • Students attending classes on a Lanier Technical College campus must return textbooks to the campus bookstore during normal operating hours.
  • Students taking classes at a high school location should follow the return instructions provided by their site representative, if applicable.
  • Students are responsible for confirming bookstore hours before returning textbooks.

Failure to Return Textbooks

Textbooks not returned by the published deadline will result in a hold being placed on the student’s Lanier Technical College account until the textbook is returned or the replacement cost has been paid to the Lanier Technical College Business Office.

An outstanding textbook hold may prevent registration for future semesters.

For bookstore hours and contact information, visit the Lanier Technical College Bookstore website.
