Dual Enrollment New Student Orientation Funding

Funding Eligibility

Students should review all funding eligibility requirements from the Georgia Student Finance Commission to ensure they qualify to receive Dual Enrollment funding.

Please note all male students 18 years of age, and those who will be turning 18 during the semester in which they receive funding, are required to register with the Selective Service in accordance with the law, regardless of residency status.

Please be aware if you do not meet all funding eligibility requirements, you will be responsible for all accrued tuition, fees, and textbooks for the semester.

For students who attend public or private Georgia high schools:

Students must submit the Dual Enrollment Funding Application online prior to registration and no later than the first day of the semester.

For students who attend a Georgia home study program:

Students must submit their Dual Enrollment Funding Application online prior to registration and no later than the first day of the semester.

Homeschool officials must create a GAfutures Education Professional account for the name of the home study program. The Georgia Home Study Program parent/guardian will receive an assigned HSP#, to provide to the student prior to completing the annual online Dual Enrollment funding application. The Homeschool official will be required to input the approved courses into the Single View each semester. More information may be found on the GAfutures website.
